BROCK’S BIG BITE

Beaverton is the place to be on Sunday, August 11 for the 3rd Annual Brock’s Big Bite in Beaverton. As well as a delicious lunch menu and entertainment, there will be vendors and artists showing their wares as part of the festivities.

Come and join the fun from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm.

19th ANNUAL UXBRIDGE LIONS ART IN THE PARK

Elgin Park in Uxbridge is always a pleasant venue for Art in the Park. Visit Walter Campbell ‘s tent again this year to see his new prints and his exclusive limited edition 2014 calendar! This show is being held on Sat. Aug. 17 and Sunday,

Aug. 18 from 10 am to 5 pm. Food vendors and strolling musicians make the day special.

Walter Campbell’s hometown, the friendly village of Sunderland, will host its 18th annual maple syrup festival on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7. Walter and his artwork will be at Sunderland Public School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, participating in the art and craft show. TELEVISION APPEARANCE

On the morning of Thursday, March 28, Walter Campbell and his wife Lynn will appear on the DAYTIME show on Rogers cable TV to promote the Sunderland Maple Syrup Festival. Lynn will be baking with maple syrup to promote the 1st annual maple baking competition, and Walter will talk about how the festival inspired him to paint “Sugar Time”, which is the festival logo.  If you don’t get this channel, you can catch part of this show online.

2014 CALENDAR

Walter and his daughter Vanessa Campbell have been collaborating on the production of the 2014 calendar. Let us know if you would like one reserved for you. Stay tuned for the announcement of the date of its release, and a list of stores where it will be available for sale. FOUR NEW PRINTS

Exciting news:  Walter has completed three beautiful new watercolour paintings and there will be some prints framed up in time for the Sunderland Maple Syrup Festival!

     The  romantic winter wedding piece is entitled Just Married, new for 2013.

     A Summer Day at Fieldstone (2013) is a pastoral version of the Fieldstone Manor farm house, complete with Holsteins.

     The Warmth of Winter (2013) is a classic winter wonderland scene featuring a grand Victorian home.

Moonlit Mill (2012) depicts Morningstar Mill in St. Catharines in all of its frosty winter glory.

The first show is slated for November 24 at Siloam Hall. This is the same day as the Uxbridge Santa Claus parade. After the parade, you can bring the family to the Siloam Studio Stop for hot chocolate and Rich Helms’ famous coffee and baked treats. Talented artisans will be there displaying creative gifts for you to give your family and friends. Walter Campbell will be exhibiting beautiful prints in a variety of sizes and price ranges, plus his popular 2013 limited edition calendars and Santa Claus prints. Join us for a wonderful afternoon from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You will also have an opportunity to win artsy items donated by the vendors!

TWO SHOWS IN LINDSAY

The Lindsay Armouries is the place to find Walter Campbell and his artwork on December 15 / 2012 and December 22 / 2012. There will be many vendors at these festive Saturday shows, including some who participate in the Lindsay Farmers Market. Again, Walter Campbell’s calendars will be available as well as a selection of framed fine art prints ready for gift wrapping for Christmas!
